Hortilux Schréder develops and manufactures assimilation lighting systems for greenhouse horticulture. Hortilux offers a comprehensive range of fixtures, lights and reflectors to guarantee the optimum distribution of light. Hortilux’s greatest strength lies in its ability to translate growers’ requirements and new insights into cultivation techniques and technical possibilities into reliable products.
Hortilux Schréder creates lighting plans for cultivation applications and advises growers on the installation, optimum use and maintenance of their lighting system. The Westland-based company is continually engaged in research, new developments and improvements. Extensive experience was gained in the field of LED lighting in an experimental greenhouse, which resulted in a line of Hortilux LED systems for multi-layer cultivation (Hortiled) and interlighting fixtures for tall crops.
All types of crops
A top fixture with LED lighting - as the low-energy successor to SON-T lighting - is currently under development. Hybrid systems are also possible. Hortilux systems are applied to all types of crops and used by a wide range of customers, from professional growers and breeding and propagation companies to urban farmers.
